Keep watching this new video from Danish four-piece Liss: something does eventually happen. Lead singer Søren Holm has a kind of bemused charm as he grins and stutters his way through the band’s debut single “Try,” which was produced by The xx’s producer Rodaidh McDonald as well as Denmark’s Vera, and comes off like Connan Mockasin doing drunken Arthur Russell karaoke with added Prince-like vocal flourishes.
